The Brief
Design Delivery Unit have secured the delivery of the last phase of this highly successful development in West London. The phase consists of 415 residential apartments centred around high quality external landscaped spaces. The development embraces a strong relationship with the water, which flows between all buildings, stitching the site together and referencing its historical context.
Added Value
As part of our role on the project a validation review of the optimised design will be undertaken. Our considerable experience at optimising layouts for the client allows efficient and productive review sessions to be held with the design architects. Working with the design architects to find a product that meets the client’s aspirations is something we always embrace and drive forward.
Technical Challenges
The pinnacle of the design is the 30 storey tower which benefits from fantastic views across the capital. We will use experiences from other sites such as Atlas and Centenary Quay for the specialist unitised panel design of the tower. The experience of delivering this building typology allows us to work with confidently with the other consultants to meet the client’s high expectations and create a striking piece of architecture.
